TORO lamps

TORO is a family of lamps based on a distinctive combination of a metal cone and a glass torus. The collection uses two sizes of glass shades which, combined with different metal fittings, create lamps with varying proportions, functions and character. The family includes pendant lamps, ceiling-mounted fixtures, table lamps, floor lamps and spotlights, all united by a common formal language and concentric fluting of the glass.

Form

The TORO form is based on the combination of two archetypal shapes: a cone, evoking the image of a beam of light, and a rounded torus, which gives the glass shade a soft and welcoming character. Three cone heights make it possible to vary the proportions of the fittings, giving each lamp its own distinctive expression while keeping it part of a coherent family. The concentric fluting of the glass enhances the impression of lightness, while carefully selected colours and metal finishes — from subtle matt surfaces to deep glosses — allow different moods to be created from the same form. A shared opal glass shade provides a unifying element throughout the collection.
