Car wash equipment: seat, bin, whisker
The project was created for Eurowash, the industry leader among manufacturers of touchless car washes. The design project was preceded by research into the company’s environment, user needs and market potential. The research was used to create a strategy for the application of design in Eurowash. The design project included: a series of housings for washing devices, single and double-stand hoovers, an osmosis device, an innovative washing lance, a paper feeder, shelter design and car wash equipment. While researching and observing behaviour at the car wash, we observed the need for seats for the people who accompany the person washing the car. In response to this need, we designed a family of modular seats, bins and whiskers which can be freely configured depending on the layout and size of the site on which the car wash is located.

Plenty of options for bench and bin placement
The seats can be installed independently and can also be combined into benches. This solution gives architects a lot of configuration possibilities. The bin can be arranged centrally with two-sided access in a square form or in a line form with access from one side.
With a consideration of the environment in which the new car wash is being built
The colour of the car wash is decided by the investor, who very often proposes to use his company colours in the car wash itself and in the landscaping elements such as benches and bins. In order to ensure consistency with the surroundings, we decided to use stainless steel as the dominant material in the design due to its noble and non-invasive character. We wanted the elements of the car wash to correspond with the surroundings by being reflected in the sheet metal.
