What was this chair meant to be?
Inventive, fresh and bold, yet friendly and inviting. Intriguing, but never intimidating. Striking, but never overpowering the space. For us, it was essential to create a conference chair that could adapt to a wide range of interiors not through anonymity or neutrality, but through its ability to take on different characters. This versatility allows a single design to respond to the needs of very different users and applications — from a simple, functional chair for intensively used spaces to a more refined piece of furniture for representative interiors.

A chair with many personalities. A chameleon chair…
The character of the KAP chair is defined by the division between the seat and backrest, connected by a distinctive dot-shaped detail.
The collection offers soft upholstered versions as well as plastic versions, allowing colours to be freely combined. Together with a wide range of base options, this creates extensive possibilities for configuring the chair and precisely adapting it to any interior.
Comfort and ergonomics
The final product was preceded by a series of prototypes developed to achieve optimal ergonomics.
The chair features a flexible backrest that responds to movement and precisely follows the user’s body, allowing for active sitting.
Its construction naturally supports a healthy posture and ensures comfort during dynamic work, team meetings and conversations.
Responsibility through durability
The construction is based on mechanical connections without the use of glue, making it possible to easily disassemble and replace any worn or damaged component, even after years of use.
Zero-waste production also gives a second life to fully functional components with uneven colouring, which naturally occurs during colour changes in the manufacturing process. These components become an ideal base for upholstered versions.
The manufacturer has selected highly durable materials to ensure that the chair can provide trouble-free service for decades, even in intensively used commercial environments.
