NEXO living collection
NEXO is a collection inspired by architecture – born from a fascination with form and with the everyday comfort of the user in mind. Its hallmark is perforation: a rhythmic arrangement of longitudinal, rounded holes, alluding to the light, openwork facades known from both modernist and contemporary designs. This motif gives the pieces a visual lightness, and the entire collection a modern, expressive character.
When designing each piece of furniture – an armchair, a chair with armrests, a chair without armrests, a hocker and a table – we placed particular emphasis on ergonomics and comfort of use. Profiled seats, appropriately adjusted backrest angles and soft edge transitions ensure comfort even during prolonged use.
The furniture is lightweight, resistant to changeable weather conditions and easy to stack. Numerous holes provide ventilation and prevent water from accumulating on the seats. The universal character of the units allows for free arrangement of both private and public spaces.
When designing NEXO, we focused on combining design precision and functionality – creating a collection that stands out for its coherent character and multiplicity of applications.

Design process
The furniture collection was designed in a parametric process using Grasshopper, which enabled variants to be created and modified quickly from the concept stage. This approach allowed the moulds and proportions to be tested efficiently and, in the refinement phase, the design to be fine-tuned to the requirements of the plastic injection technology.
Ecology / logistics / recycling
The chairs and armchairs in this collection are designed with maximum functionality in mind – their form allows for easy stacking, which greatly facilitates storage, transport and daily organisation of space, especially in dynamic commercial interiors. Simple surfaces and thoughtful details make cleaning the furniture quick and effortless, allowing it to be kept in impeccable condition for a long time.
The production process uses gas injection moulding technology (Airmould), which makes the furniture extremely lightweight yet resistant to intensive use. The optimised design ensures stability and durability, while the non-slip feet increase comfort and safety in use.
The manufacturer uses up to 30% recycled materials and the furniture is recyclable at the end of its life cycle. Their timeless form and high quality workmanship make them great for long-term use – both aesthetically and practically.
Color palette
The colour palette of the collection is consistent and carefully considered. Furniture of different colours can be freely combined to create unique compositions. This is also what makes Nexo furniture suitable for such a wide variety of applications.
