Opeko identity

The project implemented for Opeko goes significantly beyond visual identification. A design audit we performed and the design strategy developed on its basis showed us that the brand needs to be built from scratch – from its establishment (in 1995) the company didn’t have its own name (it operated under a generic name Zakład Przetwórstwa Tworzyw Sztucznych, meaning Plastics Processing Company), nor visual identity or a website. Opeko manufactures plant pots and plant nursery containers, as well as (as of recently) decorative plant pots. Our focus was to build an image of a reliable and honest company, as this is how long-term customers see it, which we learned from customer surveys conducted during the design audit. The logo is strong, restrained and, at the same time, aligned with the owner’s ideas, giving the company the potential to develop its product range in directions other than nurseries, related to the processing of plastics.
The project included the creation of a logo, business cards, catalogue, company letterhead, company prints (layout of announcements for employees), envelopes, internal communication (including plates), as well as work clothes.
The project was implemented under Measure 1.4. Design for competition
